![]() Managed to ignore several pieces of this level. Whatever this level was supposed to force me to do, it clearly didn't. I think this counts as one of thoes "fun" solutions that you shouldn't take out. Your item blocking wasn't as foolproof as you thought, here. I completely skipped the candle and the fan. I think someone already demonstrated the thing with the laser, but I'd like to point out that you should not have let us place both the lightbulb and the solar panel. ![]() I'm sure this can easily be solved by adding pulleys. In the current version the second teeter totter doesn't set off either of its motors. This is not a trick this level is currently broken. The second is much less impressive but it does skip some parts I think. The first is what I instantly came up with, blocking the laser with the mirror. I couldn't do it and had to settle for this much less impressive cheat.įor this one you get two cheats. I spent like twenty mintues trying and failing to come up with a way to get the ray gun to shoot the placeable physics objects (while blocking the rocket) just slow enough to solve this one. This doesn't actually save you any parts, but it's pretty interesting that it works.ĭid someone already do this? I think someone already did this. Two alternate solutions for this level, one slightly wrong and one very wrong. Lasers sure do make convenient sloped surfaces, huh? With care, you can use the cannonball that fires into the pipe to hit both a a pair of scissors and the seesaw, clearing the level. Top right blimp is not reached by bomb at its default position (no need to untie it), but I don't exploit that here. Ignores everything that can be ignored.ĭynamite reaches the lantern by default, balloon rises when lantern is gone, waldo sets off gun and cage when he arrives at his seesaw. ![]() In basement blunder I ignore the bowling ball and use nitro to set off the hamster and seesaw ( I legitimately didn't see the mirror that the blue laser is "supposed to shoot")Įxtremely cheesy way of doing paper preparations. I'm pretty sure this puzzle was supposed to be more complicated.Īnd finally, chalk up one more win for "using the corners of objects as a ramp". (It was years later before I learned that there's actually good physics behind it). The angular momentum trick was always my favorite cheat in TIM 2, so I'm happy to see it still works here. Tim Is Lost is still exploitable, and knowing Tim it probably always will be. This one's not really superior to the intended solution in any way, but I thought it was funny. I'm really not sure there's any salvaging this puzzle. Next, I cheat by making a bowling ball bounce into position. Not sure if any of these were alread posted, but I found some fun solutions.įirst off, a clear case of "don't let us place moving parts unless you really mean it".
